Four Powerful Approaches To Organizing Your Life

Too much to do and not enough time? How can you organize your life so you don’t forget anything? How can you finally have the time to do what’s really important? Here are 4 questions to ask yourself urgently!
1 – Organizing your life: what do I like and dislike?
In fact, we don’t always realize it, but we do a lot of things in our lives that we don’t like.
Sometimes we grumble about it, but we keep adapting to those things we don’t like.
Because we tell ourselves that life is like that, that it’s not always easy, that we’re not here to have fun.
And yet, we’re here to be happy. Every day we receive is a gift, and we have to use it to be happy.
That’s why, when we want to organize our lives, it’s time to really ask ourselves what we like and don’t like.
And, to find solutions for doing more of what we like and doing less and less of what we don’t like.
In other words, take a sheet of paper and list everything you do week after week. Write down the things you like on one side and the things you don’t like on the other.
Then find at least 10 different solutions for doing more of what you like.
And 10 other solutions to stop doing what you don’t like, or do it less often, or do it in a happier way.
After all, there are things we don’t like to do, but which are essential to our lives. So, in those moments, either delegate or learn to put more joy into that activity.
Take housework, for example. We can put on some music, plan a reward at the end, do it as a family…
2 – What’s most important to me right now? What are my goals?
To organize your life, it’s essential to know what’s important to you right now.
I say “right now”, because the things that are important to us, our goals, change over time, and that’s normal.
That’s why it’s essential to regularly ask ourselves this question, to make sure we’re always moving in a direction that we enjoy, that makes us happy.
So, to answer this question, I invite you to take some quiet time and look inside yourself.
What’s important to you right now? What are your goals?
More to the point, what makes you vibrate with joy? What makes you happy?
Because organizing your life isn’t about doing as many things as possible in as little time as possible. We’re not talking about efficiency or performance.
We’re really talking about joy and happiness.
In fact, you’re not there to do as many things as possible, you’re there to do things that have just one aim: to make you happy.
Can you see the difference?
In fact, life is a school. You’re here to learn, grow and evolve, and to do that, you have to go through experiences.
What do you want to experience in this life? What’s really important to you?
What kind of experiences do you want to have in your work, in your family life, in your passions?
Aim for joy and happiness.
3 – Organizing your life: how can you find a gentle balance between others and yourself?
Indeed, organizing your life means finding a gentle balance between others and yourself.
Because we’ve learned to always be available for others, to be of service.
In fact, we’ve learned to have an overflowing social life, and today we’re surprised to find ourselves exhausted and disconnected from ourselves.
That’s why it’s essential to find a balance between your social relationships and your relationship with yourself.
Because you need to be alone with yourself on a regular basis. You need to know who you are, what you want, how you feel, to be truly happy.
The reason we have so many relationship problems is that we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves, so we expect others to take care of us.
As a result, we’re regularly disappointed. We feel we’re giving everything and getting nothing.
That’s why, when it comes to organizing your life, it’s essential to find the right balance between others and yourself.
Make time for yourself. It’s so important.
4 – How can I look after my physical and mental health?
In fact, all too often, we take our good physical and mental health for granted.
And, when we get sick or mentally exhausted, we’re astonished. The machine has jammed and we didn’t see it coming.
That’s why, in order to organize our lives, it’s essential to set aside time to take care of our bodies and minds.
Give them time to themselves.
Because it’s essential if we want to live the happiest, sweetest life possible.
So listen to your body and your mind.
Find a physical activity you enjoy: walking, running, yoga, fitness, gym, zumba…
Try it out. At home or in a group class. Make the most of it, because the first class is often free.
Start small, start once a week.
Because the goal isn’t to do everything right away, the goal is to get moving. In other words, don’t put pressure on yourself. Take it slow.
Then, for your mind, take breaks to meditate, write in a journal, read soothing, nourishing books.
Here again, test yourself. Try out several activities and methods until you find the one you like best.
Don’t do it because it has to be done or because everyone else is doing it, do it for yourself. Think of it as a gift you’re giving yourself.
To help me take this time for myself, I remind myself that I’m not here on Earth to do all kinds of things and run around. I’m here to do small things consciously and with the sole aim of being happy and taking care of myself.
