Stress and anxiety pollute our daily lives. It exhausts us, and yet we can’t help it. So how can we free ourselves from our fear of everything? Here are the top 3 tips for all the anxious and stressed.
1 – Fear is normal and part of everyday life
When we’re afraid of everything, it’s first and foremost a question of realizing something essential in life: we don’t control everything. In fact, we don’t control much of anything.
In fact, life always throws its two cents into our daily lives.
And instead of feeling responsible for the good and not-so-good surprises in our lives, why not accept them for what they are: simply life’s surprises?
In other words, when we’re afraid of everything, it’s essential to remember that we can’t control everything, that things happen, that they just fall into our laps.
That’s why this is about accepting fear. Yes, it’s normal to be afraid of things happening to us.
In fact, it’s essential to learn to live with our fear, to stop seeing it as an enemy, but rather as a normal reaction that can be explained by the fact that we don’t control everything in our lives.
2 – Be afraid of everything and still move forward
Being afraid is completely normal in this life where we don’t control everything. It’s normal, and that’s why it’s not supposed to stop us from living and moving forward.
Fear doesn’t tell us to stop. It’s telling us to give it our all, to do our best.
In fact, it’s an emotion, and like all emotions, its purpose is to help us live better. That’s why it helps us to think more clearly and look for ways to do our best to get out of a situation.
In other words, when you’re scared, remember that fear is your ally, not your enemy. It helps you find solutions to do your best.
In fact, in this life, it’s all about doing your best. You don’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to control everything, you just have to do your best from moment to moment.
3 – Put your fears into perspective
In concrete terms, when you’re afraid of everything, what can you do? Because yes, fear is normal, because we can’t control everything. It’s an ally in helping us to do our best. And yet, when it’s there, it’s scary (laughs).
So, when we tend to be afraid of everything, anxious and stressed about everything, it’s essential to observe ourselves.
First of all, let’s realize that we are afraid. Then, let’s take a moment to put things into perspective.
Indeed, when we say we’re afraid of everything, it’s because we’re really afraid of everything, and even of things that aren’t really scary. But, unfortunately, we don’t realize it.
That’s why I invite you to ask yourself a question: will what I’m afraid of, what I’m anxious and stressed about right now, still matter in 5 years’ time?
If the answer is no, which is the case in 99.9% of cases (laughs), then there’s no point in giving that fear, anxiety or stress more than 5 minutes of your life.
In other words, when you’re afraid of something, get into the habit of asking yourself this question. You’ll see, everything becomes clearer.
