Fight Fatigue And Stress: 3 Behaviours To Ban From Your Life

We maintain our fatigue and stress, without even realizing it. In fact, we’re stuck in a vicious circle. So how can we break free? How can we combat fatigue and stress? Here are the 3 behaviors we need to banish from our lives at all costs, in order to regain happiness and serenity.
1 – Stop asking too much of yourself to fight fatigue and stress
Have you noticed how your to-do list gets longer every day? In fact, no sooner have you finished one task than 3 more are added to your list.
It’s terrible when you think about it. But we think it’s pretty normal, since we live in a society that puts the spotlight on overbooked, stressed and tired people.
Because it’s supposed to be a sign that we have a full life and are therefore happy and fulfilled.
But it’s not true!
That’s why I wholeheartedly invite you, to fight fatigue and stress, to stop asking too much of yourself.
But how can you do this when it’s part of your daily routine?
For that, I wholeheartedly invite you to start by becoming aware of everything you do, not to judge or criticize, but with great curiosity: “What am I doing day after day?”
Then, ask yourself, “Are there things I could stop doing, or delegate, among all the things I do?”
Finally, ask yourself: “Do I enjoy everything I do? How can I savor more, take more time to do what I love? And, how can I do less of those things I don’t love, or how can I make sure I love more of those things I don’t love?”
Because, all too often, we do things on autopilot. That’s why it’s more than urgent, if we’re to live happier, gentler lives, to put consciousness back into what we do.
We’re not doing machines, we’re human beings.
So, you are capable and you deserve to sort out what you do so that, little by little, you can build a daily life that pleases you more, in which you are fit and fulfilled.
2 – Stop wanting too much
Just as we’re used to asking too much of ourselves, we’re also used to wanting too much.
Quite simply, because we live in a society where advertising is everywhere! And advertising invents a whole host of false needs.
In fact, without realizing it, we spend our days thinking: “I want, I want, I want”.
And our “wants” lead us to do more and more things, to have more and more objectives, more and more boxes to tick. It’s exhausting.
That’s why, to combat fatigue and stress, sort out your needs, goals and dreams.
In fact, only keep the ones that are really essential to you, the ones that really give you butterflies in your stomach.
Because advertising makes us want things we don’t really want. That’s the magic of advertising…
So make sure that the things you’re after really appeal to you, that they really make sense to you, and that they lead you to greater happiness and joy.
In other words, I wholeheartedly invite you to ask yourself this question for each of your current needs, goals and dreams: “Do I really like this? Do I get butterflies in my stomach thinking about it?”
Because life is about pursuing things that give us butterflies in the stomach, things that bring us energy, not that make us tired and stressed.
3 – Stop expecting too much to fight fatigue and stress
Have you noticed that you put a lot of conditions on your happiness and well-being?
“When I have this, then I’ll be fine. If the other does that, then I’ll be fine.”
In other words, our happiness and well-being depend on what happens to us in our lives, or on what the people around us do or don’t do.
As a result, we don’t often feel a state of happiness and well-being.
Why don’t we? Because things never go the way we want them to, and other people are unpredictable.
As a result, we’re regularly disappointed, which makes us very tired and stressed.
That’s why, to combat fatigue and stress, I wholeheartedly invite you to detach yourself from your expectations, all your expectations.
In fact, learn to stop expecting anything, not out of pessimism or to protect yourself from disappointment, but because you don’t need this or that to happen or be done to feel happy in your life.
Can you see the difference?
So, to that end, I wholeheartedly invite you to repeat to yourself this simple yet magical phrase: “To be happy is not to have everything, it’s to need nothing else.”
