How To Get Rid Of Bad Luck: My 5 Best Tips

When everything goes wrong in our lives, we don’t know what to do. What can we do with all this bad luck? In fact, how do we find our way back to happiness and luck? Where to start? Here are 5 tips to get rid of bad luck and put a smile on your face.
1 – To get rid of bad luck, take stock of your thoughts and moods
When nothing goes right in our lives, when we feel like we’re being pursued by bad luck, we hear about the famous Law of Attraction.
A law which tells us that we are the creators of our own lives, with our thoughts and feelings.
In other words, it’s only a short step to telling us that if we have bad luck in our lives, then it’s because we created it ourselves.
So, first of all, this is very difficult to live with, because in addition to feeling bad, we feel guilty.
But that’s not what we should be telling ourselves at all.
In fact, when you want to get rid of bad luck, there’s no point in looking back to try and understand what happened.
In fact, it’s high time to look ahead and prepare for the future. A brighter, happier future.
To do this, you’ll need to take stock of your current thoughts and mood.
Because the problem is, if you feel that nothing’s going right, that you’re down on your luck, then it’s quite possible that your current thoughts are negative, pessimistic, fearful and that your mood is rather gloomy, even resentful.
And how can you have a sense of luck in your life if you keep telling yourself that you don’t have any?
So stop!
So, as a first step, I wholeheartedly invite you to take stock of your current thoughts and feelings.
Make a list of what you’re thinking and feeling. Do it now, take a sheet of paper and write it all down.
What do you think about your life, about yourself, about your work, about the people around you, about life in general? What emotions do you feel most during the day?
2 – Taking stock of your actions
Some bad news and misfortunes fall into our laps by chance, but others we’ve created ourselves.
Indeed, just as there are thoughts and feelings that create negative situations, there are actions too.
In other words, it’s possible for you to have habits that are harmful to you and your life.
And here, it’s not a question of feeling ashamed or guilty, but of taking an honest look.
Take this example: you’d like to lose weight, but you don’t exercise and you eat too many sweets.
Can we really talk about bad luck? It’s more a question of your actions going against your wishes.
So, sure, you’ve tried to change, but you just can’t. So breathe. Don’t judge yourself.
But be honest. It’s important to be aware of the actions and habits that lead us to create a life we don’t really like.
So, take a sheet of paper and make an inventory of all those negative, even harmful, actions and habits you have.
3 – Putting the positive back in to get rid of bad luck
Now that you’ve taken stock, it’s time to change things!
So, to get rid of bad luck, you need more positive thoughts and feelings.
So the secret isn’t to pretend you think everything’s going to be all right.
The secret is to start in the present moment, to look for the little things that are a source of sweetness, happiness and serenity, and to use them as a driving force to put something positive into your thoughts and feelings.
In fact, to prepare yourself for a better future, you need to put the positive back into your present!
That’s the key, that’s the secret.
Because there’s no point in forcing yourself to imagine a perfect, wonderful future if, in the present, you feel terribly unlucky and unhappy.
Everything depends on our thoughts and feelings.
So, yes, imagining a better future helps us keep hope alive and keep smiling.
But the key is to rely on the little things in everyday life to create positive thoughts and feelings in the present moment.
Let’s take this example: you really like black tea with caramel and you have a beautiful view from your window. It makes you feel good.
So why don’t you enjoy your tea while sitting in front of the window. Then stop for a moment. Breathe in the scent of the tea, look out the window and enjoy the moment with all your heart.
Finally, in the evening, as you go to bed, think of that moment again and feel that little moment of joy, happiness and serenity.
That’s how simple it is to get rid of bad luck. It’s about relying on small, ordinary but magical moments in everyday life to put a positive spin on your thoughts and your life.
So, right now, take a moment to list at least 3 small everyday moments that you particularly love. Then, make a commitment today and every day thereafter to savour them to the full.

4 – Take control to get rid of bad luck
As we saw above, to get rid of bad luck, you have to take action!
It’s important to understand that luck doesn’t just happen into your life. Luck responds to us.
In other words, it’s because we take certain actions that good luck will come into our lives.
In other words, it’s not up to luck to come to us, it’s up to us to go towards it.
Can you see the difference?
So, now it’s time for you to take charge of your life, that is to say, to take the right actions every day, those that make you feel good and those that help you create a brighter, happier future.

5 – Work on acceptance for better luck
So, I’d like to talk to you about something, about those unpleasant surprises in life, the bad luck that comes our way.
Don’t think that being lucky in life makes us 100% immune to negative events.
Because bad news is part of life. There are ups and downs, that’s just the way it is, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
And that’s where we really need to work on acceptance.
Because, when we get to the point of saying I need to get rid of bad luck, it’s because at some point in our lives we’ve lost hope and sunk into negativity.
So stop letting negative events make you doubt yourself, your life and your luck.
You are lucky.
It’s just that, sometimes, negative things happen and you’re not responsible for them.
But you are responsible for the way you react.
And, it’s because you persevere in this belief that you’re lucky and that you nourish yourself with the little things in everyday life that you find beautiful, that you’ll be able to get through the difficult times, the negative events.
So remember: being lucky is above all a posture to adopt, a state of mind and a way of being to cultivate.
