30 Days To Be Happy In Your Life

Sometimes we let our bad moods get the better of us and we don’t know how to free ourselves from them. That’s why I’m offering you a 30-day challenge to be happy and bring some positivity into your daily life. Don’t miss out on this chance to put a smile on your face!
1 – 30 days to be happy: dance to your favorite music
Dancing is one of the best ways to take your mind off things and just let yourself go. What’s more, we reconnect with our bodies, and they exult with joy.
Just dance for 30 seconds and feel the joy rising, and notice the smile that’s forming on your face.
2 – Read a book
Reading is one of the best ways to de-stress. In fact, just 6 minutes of reading can reduce stress by 60%.
In fact, reading takes our minds off everything and makes our breathing deeper and calmer. Our body and mind calm down, and soon a smile appears on our face. We just feel good, happy right now.
3 – Eat your favourite food
Too often, we wait for special occasions to do our favorite things. But every day is a special occasion. After all, we’re alive and celebrating!
4 – Wear your best outfit
Feeling good in your clothes makes you feel good all over. In other words, wearing your best outfit makes you feel more beautiful and makes your day more beautiful too.
5 – 30 days to be happy: send a loving message
Giving makes you happier than receiving. So stop expecting attention from those around you. Give them love! You’ll be surprised at how much happiness you’ll feel just by giving, without expecting anything.
6 – Give yourself flowers or something else you don’t usually give yourself
Too often, we wait to receive something that gives us pleasure, like flowers.
But if you want to be happy, it’s time to take matters into your own hands. In other words, if something makes you happy, give it to yourself.
7 – Watch your favorite movie
Take a moment for yourself and reconnect with old emotions.
8 – Going out for a drink with friends
Just a drink, of course (laughs). Too often, we say we’re too tired, which is true. But sometimes you just need to get out and clear your head, and above all enjoy a nice dose of friendship. You’ll come out happier. And not necessarily more tired (laughs).
9 – Learn something new
Our minds like to learn, and so does our soul. Yet, on a daily basis, we feel stuck in our comfort zone, in what we already know.
What if you allowed yourself to learn something new, without putting pressure on yourself? Just a word in Japanese, just the name of a plant, a yoga posture… whatever you like. As long as you let the wind of novelty blow through your daily routine.
10 – 30 days to be happy: go for a walk for 1 hour
Walking clears your head. The feet take over and the mind is lulled to sleep. You breathe more easily and see things differently. You relax and come home with a smile on your face, without really knowing why. That’s the magic of walking. (laughs)
11 – Meditate for 10 minutes
Sometimes our minds are too noisy, but we don’t realize it. That’s why it’s often necessary to sit for 10 minutes and do nothing but let our thoughts pass. Not hold on to them. Just watch them float away. You’ll come out of it lighter and therefore a little happier.
12 – 30 days to be happy: give yourself 3 compliments
Too often, we expect compliments from others. And, often… we wait a long time (laughs). But why wait? Because we can give ourselves those long-awaited compliments.
That way, your self-image will be more beautiful, and your life will seem more beautiful too.
13 – Bake a cake
Baking is like walking, except that in this case it’s the hands that take over and cradle the mind.
Baking is soothing and makes you happier, because you’re concentrating on your 5 senses.
14 – Drink a hot beverage while concentrating on your 5 senses
Unfortunately, we do things while thinking about other things or doing other things. We go too fast and don’t take advantage of anything.
So, when you’re in a bad mood, take a moment to make yourself a hot drink you like and really enjoy it, concentrating on your 5 senses.
15 – 30 days to be happy: practice yoga for 15 minutes
There’s nothing like a little teฬte-aฬ-teฬte (conversation) with your body to make you feel happier.
16 – Tidy up a room for 20 minutes
We don’t always realize it, but tidying up has beneficial effects on us, not least of which is making us happier. Indeed, a clean and tidy place, a place where we feel good, fills us with happiness.
17 – List 10 things to be grateful for
Practicing gratitude is one of the best exercises for happiness. We focus on how lucky we are, rather than dwelling on what we don’t have. We breathe easier and smile again.
18 – 30 days to be happy: start a notebook of positive thoughts
Words have a powerful impact on us. What’s more, we vibrate what we think, and we attract to ourselves what we vibrate.
In other words: if I think positive thoughts, I vibrate positive thoughts and attract positive thoughts.
So get started on your positive thoughts without delay!
19 – Visit a new part of your city or even a neighboring town
Getting out of your routine is such an important part of being happy. So go on an adventure, even if it’s a stone’s throw from your home, it’s still an adventure. Grab your camera and challenge yourself to take 10 great photos.
20 – 30 days to be happy: call an old friend to check in
We always have too little time for our old friends, yet every time we check in, we feel happier. So go for it!
21 – Smile at yourself in the mirror and give yourself 3 compliments on your looks
All too often, we look at our bodies with a critical eye. We don’t like it because we wish it were otherwise.
It’s high time we paid it compliments and loved it for what it is. Indeed, let’s remember that our body is our best ally. In fact, if we’re alive, it’s thanks to it.
22 – Admire a sunset or starry sky
Taking the time to marvel at nature is the best way to be happy. Indeed, nature’s spectacle is grandiose, so lift your head to the sky and let your worries float away.
23 – Pay someone a compliment
Giving feels better than receiving. So imagine how good it feels to give yourself a compliment, then imagine how it might feel to give a compliment to someone else.
24 – Set a new goal that makes you happy
Sometimes you need to get out of your routine to be happy, so set yourself a new goal. Whatever you want, as long as it makes you happy. Don’t think “utility”, just think “joy”.
25 – 30 days to be happy: do the thing you were supposed to do a while ago
We don’t always realize it, but the things we’re supposed to be doing but aren’t are weighing us down. They spin around in our minds, creating an overload.
So make a little space by doing something you’re supposed to do.
26 – Write for 20 minutes whatever comes to mind
Writing is also one of the best ways to de-stress. In fact, writing for a few minutes reduces stress by 70%.
We don’t always know what to write, so just write what’s on your mind. Even if it’s negative, even if it seems ridiculous.
Just write! Write, because it makes you happier.
27 – Take a scented hot bath
Taking care of your body means taking care of your soul. So take a moment to relax in a warm bath and savour this beautiful interlude of happiness in your daily life.
28 – 30 days to be happy: looking at your vacation photos
All too often, our worries take over our minds and our daily lives. They’re all we can see and think about. In fact, it’s as if we were reducing our lives to them.
That’s why taking the time to look at old photos that captured happy moments makes us happy. Yes, we remember that life is beautiful!
29 – Stopping to listen to birdsong, breathe in a flower or feel the rain fall on our face
We run in all directions, without taking the time to look around us, to become aware of what’s going on.
So take a moment to go outside and really look, really feel.
You’re alive, so enjoy this magical experience. Stop living too much in your mind with its worries and allow yourself to taste the joy.
30 – 30 days to be happy: read an article on happiness, on the blog Full of Happiness, of course (laughs).
Happiness is never a given. It comes and goes, and that’s normal. But it needs us to make it a habit. In fact, it needs us to make room for it every day, to think about it and give it our attention.
In other words, never stop being interested in happiness, keep reading, keep sharing, keep looking for it and keep feeling it.
